oohhhh bbbooyyy...

what a sweet picture, i look at it and think what kind of relationship these brothers will have, 3 brothers. I see it already when Colin is doing something and i ask Gavin to do something different, Gavin says " but mommy Colin is my bestest friend" I love this relationship they have and i cant wait to see how Nolan comes into this group. this picture also makes me think what buying our first house has gotten us. We bought our house in January of 2005 i can tell you for sure that we have used to heck out of this house. Every single room every single wall, every last corner. We have loved this house, our first road down grown-upness. What a blessing it has been, room for us to have our OWN space, we have learned a lot, how to put in a kitchen floor, and laminate hard wood, landscape the back yard, put on siding, and fix random things. But we are running out of room. We have decided to sell our house and find a bigger one. i know i know i can hear you all now "in this market" well we decided that we are in no hurry, so we will let it ride. The rates are low and there are LOTS of houses for us to choose from. So please send up some prayers and cross you fingers that our house will sell and we will find that house that we love. Stressful? YES! but i think we can handle it, at least i say that now...

6 months

Nolan is now 6 months old. I took him to his well check on Fri and he weighs 18 lbs his is 26 3/4 in. that puts him in the 70% for weight and height. He is doing gteat, he is all over the place. He can just a bout sit on his own, rolling all over the place and talks just like he knows how. He is eating like a champ and now wants to do it himself so he is working on that.

long time coming

i am so proud to post this post. Colin has had some hitting issues in the past, when i mean some, i felt like i couldnt go out cause i didnt want him to hit another kid. So we satyed home for quite some time and workied on it, really we worked on it, every single time he would hit it was a time out immediatly. For about a month now he hasnt been hitting at all. So it worked out that they had some friends come over on Tue neither Colin nor Gavin hit anyone i was so proud, they did great really played well. So i thought i would try again we went to a playgroup today, and they did great again!!! No hitting, no pushing, no taking toys away. They had a great time, as did i, it was great to get out again and see some friends. Much needed! Anyways just wanted to say how proud i was of my boys, it does pay off!

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year

Yikes, i cannot believe it has been this long since i have been on here. There have been a couple things that have happened, i guess 3 big holidays explain it. Thanksgiving was wonderful we got to spend it with family it was fun and easy. Christmas was crazy and so wonderful, we celebrated with some family the week before and did the normal Christmas eve with my parents and brothers, eve was a lot of fun as usual!! we then came home and set out cookies and milk for Santa and celery at the front door for the reindeer. Wrapped a couple last minute presents from " Mr. C" The boys had a blast on Christmas day they got to stay home all day and just play my mom and dad came over and just hung out. Then Jason's Dad and sister cane the day after Christmas for 3 days, it was so good to see them and have them here. We got to do alot of fun things when they were here!! then on to New Years of course no one stayed up to see the new year come in, but really with 3 little ones sleep is far and few between. And now here we are back to normal, what a whirlwind but worth every second. So anyways after all being said i am back and will be on here quite often now. Hope your Holiday season went well, if we were with you we sure were glad, if we weren't we sure did miss you!!
