1st Dentist visits

Gavin had his 1st dentist visit scheduled a couple of weeks ago, he has been pretty excited about it!
Well we got there and he was just fine in the waiting room
once they called his name he, he got very nervous, hid behind
me and held my hand. When we got back to the room things
werent much different, he didnt want to sit in the chair, even
though cartoons were on in the TV above the chair. i sat next to
the chair and held his hand. The tech tried to get him to open his
mouth, there was no way Gavin was going to let her in his mouth.
So we decide to let Colin go first, why is a 2 year old at the dentist you ask,
weeeelllll, Colin lost a bottom tooth this last weekend. Yes your right 2 year olds arent supposed to loose teeth. So Colin got to tag along to the dentist, with big
brother Gavin. Colin hopped right up in the chair, she asked him to open his mouth
he opened right away, let her look at his teeth, count them and clean them.
Now it was Gavins turn again, well after seeing what she did to Colin, there
was no way Gavin was getting back up there. So i layed down on the chair and put Gavin on top of me, he did much better after that! They also counted his teeth and cleaned them. Then the dentist came, now this dentist has seen me since i was probably 10 years old. He noticed Gavin was having a hard time, so he just swooped right in got in Gavins mouth before Gavin could even say no, it was perfect, Gavin passed with flying colors. Colin was a next to see the dentist, once again did great, opened right up, Dr. Smith checked him out and checked out the tooth that i had brought in. he said it was a baby tooth, not an extra tooth. It was was "helped"out, if he feel on it a couple weeks ago, and then finally loosened to fall out, there could be a hundred scenarios. I guess we will never know what happened, but he said Colin is great, nothing is wrong with him, just an accident that happened. With 3 boys and no trips to the ER yet, i guess we were in for something. just glad nothing is wrong with him, just a gap in his mouth for the next 3 or 4 years. I guess he is trying to live up to us always telling him he is just like Jason, when Jason was little he knocked out his 2 front teeth, which gave him quite the gap fore a couple of years. Well that has been the excitement for here lately.
